Paul and Tim Photography – Berts Barrow Wedding
We’ve been having so much fun photographing weddings we’ve let our blog slip for far too long. It was great putting together a best of for 2022, you get a feel for what we love and aim to capture at all our weddings. With a wedding blog you can feel the flow, it’s hard to keep numbers down but below are our favourite whilst trying to stop going over the top with hundreds of photographs.
Carly + Lucy met us at a Berts Barrow wedding fair many moons ago and after first meeting, we hoped they would choose us. Super chilled, load of fun ideas and getting married at Bert’s Barrow. A perfect combination.
Covid slowed down things by a year or so but eventually we made it. As we expected, Lucy and Carly were super chilled, music and butties in the morning with friends before heading to the local pub whilst guest awaited at Bert’s Barrow. Their arrival was kept secret, sneaking in the back in a tractor announced by smoke bombs.
The ceremony barn at Bert Barrow looks stunning, just enough light for great photographs whilst keeping it magical. We love that everything is in one place too so after the ceremony, everyone is straight out onto the lawn for champagne and fun.
Speeches were in the second barn with its brilliant decorations, so many layers to photograph through. We love photographing speeches, with just Lucy and Carly saying some heartfelt words and a few comedy moments thrown in, loads of emotions flying around made it extremely personal.
With it being a summer wedding, after speeches there was time to chill out on the lawn, enjoying the evening sunshine before the real party began and what a party it was. Rather than us describe it, check it out below along with our favourites.
